How We Approached the Project
Dynamic Dreamz led a full Shopify Plus migration that replicated, simplified, and optimised SleepyCat's complex WooCommerce workflows for scale. Complex variant logic was rebuilt using a smart SKU-splitting mechanism with a unified front-end interface, letting customers select material, size, and dimensions seamlessly without realising they were interacting with multiple linked products under the hood, overcoming Shopify's native variant limits. A custom Bundle Builder was developed with dedicated product templates, using Shopify Cart Transformations to calculate bundle pricing dynamically and Checkout Extensions so customers see accurate bundled pricing at checkout, with real-time inventory tracking throughout. A zipcode-based delivery checker was integrated to show real-time availability and delivery timelines by pin code, reducing last-minute drop-offs, alongside a mattress recommender quiz that pre-fills configurator options based on customer answers. WhatsApp automation via Shopify Flow was implemented for order confirmations, abandoned cart recovery, and delivery updates to improve engagement and recovery rates.
